Exploring Transcendence

" I like to visualize it like when you're listening to Rock and Roll it flows like a river. It goes in one direction just like time and music and it flows in one way and you might see or hear some familiar things that you place as a landmark in a song and that's it and you end up in the ocean and thats the end of that experience. When you add pads and reverb you are expanding the basin of this river to three or four dimensions instead. You don't have just one direction it's flowing. You have this undulating undercurrent that is expanding the size of this river that's carrying this music. It starts going in multi dimensions instead of just one A->B direction."
